About
OUR MISSION
Joshua’s Camp Corporation Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit community organization, co-founded by Cathy and John Finney in 2012. It stems from the realization and celebration of a wish Joshua Holm made before he lost his battle with cancer in 2008. In fall of 2012, the first programming was to honor Joshua’s wishes of starting a camp for families who have a child being treated for cancer. Joshua knew all too well that a family going through the everyday ordeal of cancer treatment needs a place where everyone can just smile, laugh, have fun, and remember what it’s like to just be a kid and a family again.

We create space for parents to breathe, for siblings to be seen, and for children to feel like more than their diagnosis. Because when you support the whole family, you strengthen the foundation that carries a child through treatment—and beyond. Our work ensures that families don’t just survive cancer. They stay connected, empowered, and cared for every step of the way.

Joshua's Camp Foundation is different - in that all our efforts center around the whole family. Especially the voices, journeys, and attention to sibling and children navigating childhood cancer.
