Family Relief & Support Needs

Support When The Family Needs It The Most

Resource supporting families in times when at a child’s bedside, when first coming home, and/or when on maintenance or recovery treatment plan. Support is packaged to bring immediate and long-term support and impact to families.

Joshua's Camp Foundation would like to work with families in identifying your family needs and how best to provide support. Some examples are listed to engage with the family needs.

Some of the Family Relief & Support Needs are still being developed, as processes and implementation are under consideration.

Examples of Support

  • Essential basic needs (i.e., food, gas, chargers, air mattress, mini-frigs, white noise machine, supplies, misc.)

  • Family Travel Needs (i.e., rentals, lodging) – for parent(s) and/or siblings

  • Extended Family Travel Support (i.e. air, car rental, lodging, millage) - for grandparents, immediate family who can provide moral or logistical support to the family

  • Household Support: Housekeeping or Lawncare Services or Childcare for siblings

  • Swing-set/outdoor play area in yard or entertainment home center
