A Time to Just be a Kid

After a childhood cancer diagnosis and months of treatment, there comes a moment when a child deserves something simple yet powerful—the chance to just be a kid again.

Joshua’s Camp Foundation proudly offers My Perfect Day, a heartfelt initiative created to give children and their families a day filled with joy, connection, and meaningful moments. This inclusive experience is designed to support a child’s emotional well-being while creating lasting, positive memories for the entire family.

We work closely with each child and their family to design a Perfect Day centered on what matters most to them. From big dreams to quiet moments, the day is shaped entirely by the child’s imagination. To begin, complete the General Inquiry Form and select “My Perfect Day.” A member of our staff will then connect with your family to plan details, logistics, and timing.

Please note that My Perfect Day Wish programming is still evolving as we thoughtfully develop processes to ensure every experience is meaningful and impactful. What remains constant is this: the child is always at the center of their day. Their wishes guide the experience, limited only by what feels most important to them.

We are deeply honored to partner with children and families to create a day that celebrates hope, joy, and the simple magic of being a kid.​​​​​​

Examples of Support
 

• A 'Foodie' Day - visit your favorite restaurant, cook your own special meal with a chef, and don't forget the dessert. 

• My favorite animals - visit a zoo, pet store, behind the scenes of an aquarium, and maybe bring home your own special pet

• Your sports and activity package - bring friends and family to an activity center, tickets to a sports event, and be a part of a team

• Your own celebration - create your own themed party with family and friends, filled with fun and adventures, special events, and lots of cake and ballons to celebrate

• Extreme Adventure - enjoy kayaking, rock climbing, or cave exploring. It is your time to rock.
